Easy Avocado on Toast Breakfast Recipe

Have you tried having avocado on toast for breakfast? With plenty of avocados available in the market I decided to give it a try instead of the regular scrambled eggs on toast. So here is a simple and easy Avocado on toast recipe I stirred up in my kitchen. With the ingredients available to me that morning.  Well the recipe was easy and done in a jiffy. But my only advice is, once the avacado mixture is prepared, do not wait ti eat it. It has to be eaten as soon as possible ot else you will get a bitter after taste.

Before I explain the recipe here are a few tips to buy and store avocados.
1. Buy the darker colored avocados, they are more freshy and loaded with health benefits.

 2. They should feel a tad bit soft but not mushy.

3. If avocados are hard, then store it in a newspaper or paper bag to ripen.

4. If you have used half an avocado and need to store the other half then squeeze some lime juice or vinegar on half of it. Also store it in an airtight container or else it will turn brown.

And Now for the Recipe .....

Qualities that make a scrumptious pizza

 Are you a Pizza Lover?
If the answer is in the affirmative and you start craving for pizza, I am sure you are a pizza lover. But do you know how to recognize a really good quality authentic pizza. A perfect pizza is a wholesome combination of a good base, sauce and toppings, it not only has to be placed well but also executed to perfection.

Qualities that make a scrumptious pizza

What are the Qualities that make a scrumptious pizza

1. A well done Crispy Crust

The general rule about authentic pizza  says that the crust should be crispy on the outside. The dough should be baked through and not raw, moreover not have a yeasty flavor. That is why people prefer the thin crust pizza that is crispy, well cooked yet melts in the mouth.

2. A Delicious Sauce

A Pizza sauce is blended with ripe juicy tomatoes, and seasoned with garlic, basil, and salt. This has to added to the pizza base in the right proportion, not too much and not too less. You should be able to experience the wonderful robust flavor in each bite along with it’s over components. It helps in creating that wonderfully robust yet never overwhelming flavor. If added in access the pizza gets soggy and cannot be enjoyed with the over powering saucy flavor.

3. Good amount of Cheese

You just know it in every bite. The pizza has to have a good amount of cheese, yes please.  And just how can you decide that your pizza is well made and with real good quality cheese. The chhese should melt well and stick to the base of the cheese. It can be stringy but not dry. A great pizza has a chewsy and tangy taste that is equal.

4. Evenly placed Toppings

A good quality pizza slice displays evenly distributed toppings. If you have ordered a vegetarian pizza, the pizza should contain and clearly depict the toppings. If a Paneer Pizza has just vegetables and one or two pieces of paneer then you can tell that pizza is not the best.

5. Cooking it through

It really doesn't matter if the pizza is cooked in an electric or wooden oven or if its prepared in a pan. For best results the pizza should be cooked on high temperature yet placing the pizza on the middle shelf so that the pizza cooks even in the middle without leaving it under cooked.

Here are the reasons why people around the world love eating pizza. It is all these factors that make a good pizza that can be enjoyed with your senses.  I am guessing, it’s a combination of how the pizza smells, looks, and tastes. But the taste definitely matter the most.

Easy Silky Eggless Mango Pudding

For Silky Mango Pudding

Stirred up a simple silky mango pudding before the mango season gets over. Only a few varieties of mangoes are available in the month of August.  And I had to make do with the green variety called Chausa  is Hindi. It's a dark green color skinned mango but very sweet and pulpy.

silky Mango pudding

This was a  really smooth and soft mango pudding and is vegetarian with no eggs used. I used gelatin as a setting agent in the pudding. The original recipe uses gelatin. You can use agar  agar as an option too.

Note the ingredients for the silky Mango Pudding.

Ingredients

2 cups mango puree
Half cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
Half cup fresh cream
1 sachet gelatin crystals

For Garnish
Few mango pieces
Cashew
Mint leaves

Method

1. First wash the mangoes,  peel the two mangoes. Roughly chop them into pieces. Then add it to a mixer or blender jar. And blend to a fine pulp.

2. Dissolve one teaspoon of gelatin (or one sachet) to half a cup of milk. Make sure the milk is not cold.

3. Now take a pan and add the mango puree. Set the temperature on a low flame and keep stirring.

4. Then add 2 tablespoons sugar. Sugar can be added less or more depending on the sweetness of mangoes. Since the mangoes I used were very sweet, I added only 2 tablespoons of refined sugar.

5. Also add the cream and stir till it's all mixed well together

6. Add the milk and gelatin mixture and stir for 5 minutes till the mango puree thickens ( white sauce consistency)

7. Turn off the fire and let it sit for 5 minutes

8. Grease the pudding bowls with some cooking oil.  Pour it into the dessert bowls and place it in the refrigerator to set for 4 - 5 hours.

9. When the pudding is set you can unmold it onto a dish. Garnish it with mango cubes, few cashew nuts and mint leaves.

10. Now it's time to enjoy your chilled silky mango pudding.

Note

You can use agar agar as a thickening agent instead of gelatin.

Or try it with another fruit if you wish.
