Hello friends,
Here we meet again for another easy recipe. Read on....
So we all are bored of eating the same old daal chawal sometimes and wish to value add to the staple food by a side dish, salad or added component, right?
So keeping in mind the nutrient factors and health part, I am making something different today. A brown Channa or Bengal gram is a smaller variant than the regular Kabuli channa, high in dietary fibre and is one of the most protein-rich beans there is. Copper, zinc and manganese are present in it. So lets get started with the recipe of Brown channa chaat.
2. Place the channa in a pressure cooker with a pinch of salt and the potatoes to cook for about 15 minutes.Chana should be soft and tender.
4. In a large bowl combine the chopped onion, tomatoes, chilly, and potatoes.
5. Now add the cooked channa to the mixture.
6. Now add the chaat masala, anaar daana powder and lime.
7. Add corriander to garnish
You can add cucumber instead of potato. Also cut raw mango and fresh pomegranate instead on anaar daana. Serve it like a snack or even at parties. People will love you for serving up something healthy instead of fried samosas.
